a lot of guys spin the injecter around 180 degrees so the connecter is inside behind the fuel rail and then make the new connections fit. When splicing the new connecter, be sure to solder all connections and wrap them with heat shrink tubing. If you can get the type that has the heat sensitive foam in it, thats the best, the foam is a sealer that expands and makes the connection waterproof. You have to go to electronics companies to get it, no Radio Shack.
