    Here is my cam video.
    I have a custom grind Comp cam with a 114 +4 LSA. The "+4" is 4 degrees of advanced timing. You can add advanced timing on higher lift cams so that it can get you into the power band sooner...

    So with the cam i am thinking about getting is it going to effect my gas mileage any? Thanks

    More power gets you into overdrive faster depending on you're driving habits I think. Also with really low LSA I think it allows some of the fuel charge to escape due to overlap. Probably the tune has a lot to do with it.

    Yes, your MPG will go down. But it only goes down as far as your right foot does...

    Okay i can deal with that i only care about gas mileage when i go on trips. Other then that it does not matter to much around town.

    Once you get your mods on and get the tune worked out, your HWY mpg won't be that much worse...
