What problems will this cause, ive been driving for over a week without mine, and havent really noticed anything, i already knew it wouldnt help with MPG, maybe even hurt it alittle, but i just filled up and got 15.9 on the tank.

Ive had it off and at a freinds getting the bottom of it painted pewter so the two tone goes all the way around the back of the truck, and also the tailgate handle and bezel, and the trim piece on top of the tailgate smoothed out and painted grey to match the upper color.

It will be back on the truck tomorrow. Ill post up some pics.

It's just been shown that you get better gas mileage and less drag with it on than with it off.

I got bored at The station and ported my throttle body. Easy to do and even if it only gave me 1hp I think it was worth the 30mins + some a few dremel tips and some 1000 grit.

[quote=DamnYankee;127590]Throttle body bypass is free but doesn't give any noticeable gains.

If you do a Gen III swap into an 88-98 model. Where will/should the coolant line coming from the intake go? Can it go to a heater hose, or the radiator hose? Is there a T available?

I just drilled and tapped a 1/8 npt fitting hole in one of the heater hose locations at the water pump.

yes, I noticed some low end power. But make sure you buff the surface after you grind. Also make it as smooth and level as possible.
