    Benz Sl 500

On the highway coming from work doin about 75, when i come upon a late
90's or early 2000 benz sl500, as im passing him he starts to speed up, so i was like, sweet, its go time! i had hope for a little while, but i knew what i was messin with, and i was actually impressed that i stayed with him for a little while. from 80-115 we were side by side, but after that, that beast of a car started pullin pretty good and i knew i was all done. little car-big power. it was right there and then i was wishin for a 100 shot of spray, then it wouldve been a different story. i wasnt too upset, i knew i didnt have anything for that kind of car, oh well

    Thumbs up

LOL, he was toying with you.

The 86-89 560SL runs a 15 flat stock in US trim, the '90-92 cars with the CIS EFI ran even better as they went to a 32V heads and gained about 80hp to 322.

No telling the year you ran, but it was probably a '94+ with SEFI as you said SL500 not 500SL. Those got progressively quicker into the upper 5 sec/real low 6 sec, 0-60mph range.

You would get obliterated from 0 to its 155mph limiter by that car with a driver actually going at it.

Good run man! Yeah, after about 100-110 mph, the fact that we have a truck hurts us. Unless you have some kind of significant power adder, the aerodynamics kill us more than anything...
