    This copied from GMPD site

DESCRIPTION: GASKET KI LS engine camshaft installation kit LS eninge cam installation kit includes front engine cover gasket, water pump gasket, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, balancer bolt, and front seal.

    List for 40.xx

Not a bad deal for everything, of course what they charge for shipping might be better to get it local.

they charge 10.95 for S&H and the kit list for 40.56 for 51.1 shipped to me, not a bad deal for the whole kit. Not sure you could get better than that locally, but if so id buy one two for my cam swap.

dude...its cheaper to buy the cam install kit than to buy the manifold gaskets by themselves!

buy a new bolt for 3 bux and reuse all of the gaskets that are currently on the truck.

just get the 3-6 buck crank bolt . . . you don't need everything that comes in this kit for a cam swap.
The most important thing in the swap is the crank bolt.

i'm hoping that someone local will chime in and get me a price.
'cause i would like to not have to pay for shipping.
plus someone else said that it took too long for it to be shippind from gmpd.
i wonder how much scoggin-dickey sells it for and if they can get it to me faster.

that kit is a total waste of money leo ive reused all of my gaskets 2x..my intake manifold has been off atleast 6 times without replacing any gaskets...buy a $3 bolt, $4 worth of oil and do it.

Yeah, no need for a cam kit. All gaskets are reuseable. Some people say you don't even need a new crank bolt if you are not FI... But I always use a new one. Go to Sears or O'Reilly's and get a compression tester kit for the compressor so you can air up the cylinders to keep the valves up. And go get the cheapy $7 valve spring compression tool from O'Reilly's while you are there and cut off the upper part of the handle. Use a spare rocker bolt and some spare retainers to gap out the compression tool... It's all pretty easy.
