    air filter?

    im gonna be replacing and relocating my filter soon .i wanna know what do you guys think ,do i go dry filter or wet syle filters,?i do alot of work on const sites and get alot of dirt under my hood ,and plow and get salt under hood ,consider this in any answers.or pics maybe .now mine is still over on the pass side and open with no air beeing sent to it so i figure ill relocate also for better iats,id like to know what filter name etc you guys reccommend.ive anly ever had kn style cone .cone seems to be popular and im ok with that .im just looking for a diff brand.too try .i need the flow.i think minr isnt flowing properly i hear a whistle every now and then,randomly .plus i just want a new toy.

    seriously no one uses air filter,cmon guy i need some ideas for filters atleast.i need a cone style but i dont know any other brands that are quality,sorry dont mean to sound sarcastic,i realized it after i wrote it

    Get a KandN and keep it clean....Ive used them for 15 years...never let me down. From sand ,dust,mud and a little snow....doesnt snow much here

    yeh but ive been hearing thing about the oils getting in the maf and stuff,and thought id give a dry a try .lol.im really trying to come up with a new intake setup ,ideas?now mine is open to the engine heat and in the summer i thiink i get alot of underhood heat ,thats the deal ,and mine crosses from pass side to driver side then into the s/c.it looks ugly.i want something better looking.

    yea that oil is messy, let it dry for about a day before you put it on, and dont use to much of it

    Get a speed density tune and 86 the MAF. No more worries.

    I run a dry AEM and love it. No cleaning or oiling.
