its a direct bolt-on. You lengthen the MAP sensor wires and shim the fuel rails up for the LS1 type injectors. The rest is just remove and replace plus make a throttle cable bracket. The LS2 uses the same heads as an LS6, 243 castings. Its all the same. LS7/L76/L92 is different.
I thought they were catedral type inlets(on heads), kind of defeating the porpose of rectagular(bigger) intake tubes. I also thought they upgraded the 243 heads on LS2. My bad, I'll take your word for it. Makes since though cause I have to go with L76 w/ my L92 heads now.
