    octane boosters?

    do they do anything? the highest octane i can get around here is 91 and i think i need at least 93.

    ive heard both ways. probably safer to detune for street. then on track days buy race fuel and turn up the wick.

    i wouldn't use those ones that you see at the auto parts store. they will ruin ur motor. i knew some ppl from high school who used that in there cars, it really messed up something the car started to blow out smoke an didn't run right ever since

    No further than you are from Arkansas, I'd see whats available over there and buy you some fuel drums to fill with good stuff if they have it across the border. I thought OK had 93 octane?

    they might but not the local stations, i may be able to find a place in AR that sells it. im only about 25 min from the border. ill check out some stations tommorrow or sunday when i go there. if i can get it in AR that would be great. thanks greg.

    Your an FI guy now.. why not just put a single nozzle Alcohol injection kit on it?... Octane boost is 7.00 a bottle.. and you can get a drum for 150ish for 55 gallons... that will last a WHILE...

    i put 20oz of methanol in my tank at fill up truck runs good it loves that stuff but i wouldnt over do it

    what do you consider straight methanol.brand ,type etc.

    i couldnt tell you the brand i work on a oil and gas drilling rig we have it in 55 gall barrels its straight methanol

    i have a found a place that sells 101 octane racing gas, i bought like 10 gallons in a full tank and it seemed to run really good with it. is this advisable mixing the gas?
