But anyway, like Red and Casey explained--going from a V6 to a V8 is pretty intense. The only way that you could really make it worth while is to get all of the BS out of the way first...as in e-fans, fuel pump, removing the old wiring, taking the old motor and tranny out, fabricating a new crossmember, etc. If you got all of that done and came up with a bare truck that was 100% ready to have the new motor dropped in and wiring harness ready, then it can be done in a really long weekend. Plus, you would also have to consider the 8+ hours of drive time involved... I am not saying we won't do it--its just that unless you prep the whole truck for immediate drop-in, there is no way we could get it all done this upcoming weekend. You would need to take a week of your own "off time" and prep the truck and then give us a few days... IT's possible, but there is a lot of work involved from your end of the deal to get it ready so we can do as much as we can up here...
