I'm not sure of the others off the top of my head. The Auburn has cones instead of plate type clutches. The Auburn is one of the smoothest operating LSDs on the market. There is no bang associated to application of the LSD operations like there is on some units depending totally upon gear applications only.

I have a Detroit Locker in my truck.. It Locks and Unlocks when you get into turns Its Pretty Much Gear to Gear with a Big Ratchet type system... PT.net guys Brag on the Eaton True Trac.. So i bought one for a customer ( half price of a detroit) and what a BEAST !! ... Its nothing but a Huge gear to gear Plant system VERY heavy duty.. Nothing to unlock on turns and I see no way your going to brake it !.. Under 400.00 Alot of people have been very fast with them ! and still Great street maners and nothing to wear out

is my 2003 a 28 spline or a 30 spline setup? I have been looking at changing my rear gears and adding a posi unit since mine is just open, and the true trac sounds perfect, but looking at nationaldrivetrain.com they list a 30 spline for 456 and a 28 spline for 360. big differance for a 2 spline increase.

I was also thinking about getting the detroit east locker that will fit inside my stock open diff, the ez locker is 269 from summit, and it looks like my 03 is a 30 spline. Anybody ever use the easy locker??

Also looking at summit, the 30 spline true trac is 409.
