Im looking for a 6.0 to take off someones hands and what parts i would need to pretty much make it a corvette engine i know ill need to start out with an alum block but what else do i need to build it up

6.0 will be cast iron unless you get an LS2 or a 6.2L L92/LS3/L76. To overbore an aluminum 5.7 isn't financially advantageous, get the 6.2 or LS2 instead for a lot less money. I'd suggest you buy a manual about LSx engines and study it for a while to learn a little about the engines and what works together and the specs on the stock engine parts or go to a builder and get suggestions for matching parts for what you're planning on building. You will save yourself a lot of headaches. You can ask here but once you get your game plan together, post it up or talk to a builder before throwing money down.
