    red hb.contd from last night!

    ok red heres my newest issue .its been real sluggish through this hoe thing in 4th when it lugs down,usually i just have 2 push the pedal alittle harder too kick it down when its sluggish.as of today when i do that its shutteing and periodically pops like a backfire.whats up ,

    That sounds like a lean condition. Your fuel pressure boost controller should have a way to trigger it into high speed mode by boost pressure. I can't remember what kind of switch that is called, hobs, I believe.

    are you talking about the speed controller.and yes im lean as **** ,and ive been thats what im trying 2 fix ,if i can ever get it figured out,.please explain better .i want too be on same pg.

    Hobbs Switch, Boost Activated, Boost Level Adjustable: atpturbo.com

    Add one of those to the boost pipe and set it up so when you have 2-3 lbs of positive boost your fuel pump controller switches to high speed mode

    isnt that the same as my 16302 aeromotive somewhat or diff purpose and should i hook the vaccuum back to thebypass regulator allen told me i didnt need it just want other opinions ,allen can only sqeeze so much in his head.

    leaving the boost reference off the FPR gives Allen a better chance at tuning the engine by mail because the FP is constant and predictable. Adding the HOBBS switch to the pressure side of the intake just cranks the fuel pressure up to ensure you have plenty of fuel going to the rails to help match the additional air that is in the intake.

    red i need a better piture of what the hell to do with this thing.which boost pipe?were?do you just screw it in to the boost pipe on the cold air side of my intrcooler going into the t/b?

    You already have a Hobbs switch that was installed with the billet fuel pump voltage boost module?
