You don't have AAA or a tow service that comes with some membership you belong to?

Ooooo...didn't think of that....did but don't now. AAA expired in August and didn't re-up.

Okay...I'm stupid on this. You have to take shaft off at both ends if the rear is the only thing rolling?

You don't HAVE to take both ends off... You can unbolt it from the rear yoke and strap it to the frame somewhere... But make sure you cap the end that you disconnect--don't want any road grime getting in there...

Well....I never could get in touch with Jerry, but I did get with Sparky at Lonestar. Limped it over to Rockwall Sat a.m. Turns out it wasn't just the 3/4 clutch pack. Can't recall the specifics but basically the thing was broke pretty bad....to the tune of $1580. A circle clip that holds the clutch packs or something along those lines came loose. That wound up grinding some **** up and crapping out the pump.

Anyway....Sparky is a good guy and the initial impression is that he knows what he's talking about. Turn around time was good and the price, while more than what I hoped, was reasonable for the work he did. Tranny feels strong. Shifts are smooth with no boost and crisp under boost.

    Thanks for the help guys.
