alright lets see if i can answer all these at 1 time the kit is from belltech its a 4 inch drop 2inch spindles 2 inch springs 6 in the back flip kit i read the faq on the pinion angle and thought that might have something to do with the wheel hop and loss of power. i didnt shim anything and trust i DESTROYED my flowmaster with my driveshaft i think shes prolly about an inch wide in 1 spot and its supposed to be 2.5 haha not to mention on my 3.5 hour ride back from connecticut with my t-56 the exhaust decided to fall out so i had to hold it up with tow straps all the way home! very annoying sound and on top of that some dick trooper gave me a ticket for 180$ for going like 16 over what a bad day between gas and the ticket i cuda just shipped the frigen tranny and not wasted a whole day! what is the best way to change my angle obviously loosen up the u bolts and move the rear end up or down? what is used to measure it and whats the correct degree for it to be at? thanks guys im really tired of hopping lol oh and i will be putting in an eaton lsd with some 4.56s aswell

First thing to check is that you have the flip kit saddles positioned the correct direction. There is a short side and a long side, that will set the pinion angle correctly. Their kit is well engineered and does all the settings of the pinion angle for you.

The saddles are the c-shaped parts that fit around the axle tubes and the flat side of the C mates to the springs. When I did the flip on my 92 the rearend actually got better rather than worse, then again I had an xcab and I had all the pieces installed including the carrier bearing spacer.

nope, its the part that should be mated to the spring and the points go up into the original spring mounts that are welded to the axle tubes.

Alright i took a look at it now these saddles they come from the bottom of the axel and kind of lock everything in place correct and i can see how if they were positioned wrong id would screw things up a bit but how do i know if they are correct? also i think the u bolts need to be torqued down hard when i roll my truck the axel moves not cool maybe she loosed up from the hopping i dont know i just know i cranked um on hard the first time. lemme know thanks!
