well we got a tiburon in the shop now that we basically did the same thing to but it was a new car with 5 miles on it and the cams siezed in the head and hyundai told us to just put a new head on it. well someone bought it later down the road and thier low oil press. light kept coming on. after monitering the oil pres. we found the pres. would go from 80 to 0 pounds if you let it run long enough at idle from all the metal and gasket material in the pick up tube. so we beat the **** out of it and let it idle in the shop till that lower end knock came-a-knockin loud and clear for hyundai. LOL why should we tear down something that is screwed anyways. do the customer a favor and long block it!!!
