Need help on cam install issue

Hey guys, that turbo vette we just finished up is great but I have an issue.

We got the cam in and it's strong, but I have a ses light. It's a ses for the cam sensor high all the time, I believe it's a 343 code.
I went through the troubleshooting process and here's what I've done so far.

    Replaced cam sensor
    Replaced cam sensor connector
    Replaced PCM
Replaced cam sensor connector and ran new wire to PCM

There isn't anything left outside the engine that I've tested.
All three wires from the cam sensor go to PCM, no grounds and it gets it power from the pcm, 12v.

The only thing I can think of is to pull the damn cam. I hate to do this, but that's what it's coming down to.
The only thing internally is some debri may be in the way between the cam sensor and cam, or the reluctor wheel on the cam is wrong, bad, damaged. It's almost impossible to damage the ring. Go ahead and try it, throw a cam on the ground and it won't break or dent, they are strong. Unless it was messed up from Comp, whoever really looks at the cam ring to see if it's right, lol.

Anyone have any other suggestion on what to check? I'll probably pull the cam today and inspect.
The car runs too strong to be off a tooth or installed wrong.

The problem with the car is, it will crank for a long time before it starts. The car doesn't need the cam sensor to start. Sometimes it starts right away and others it will crank forever before it starts.

    btw, it's an '03 vette.

    thanks,
    allen

What all did you do to it, other than cam? Fuel pressure sounds familiar. Ground wire from battery to chassis and engine?

Can you look through the hole where the sensor goes and see anything? Maybe rotate the engine.

Ya, i hear you! I've just never had a cam sensor go bad, then to get two of them, what are the odds.

btw, I know you still need a tune, send me the details.
