Sweet Looking Truck. 1300 Bucks! Thats crazy, U can get the pacesetter longtubes (they have a bigger flange, Very Nice) and the y pipe all for 500 dollars shipped. Its all deffinately well worth the money. Order your headers, y pipe, and nuts and bolts from summit racing. Ask them to price match the longs tubes from texas speed and performance and they will. For the y pipe PSM-82-1176, headers PSM-72C2265, and nuts and bolts STG-8900 the total comes to 560.88. I bought the nuts and bolts, just because there nice, and won't ever give me any trouble, and won't ever back out. Just my opinion.
The Y pipe slips on really nice, the driver side is a little bit tough, but put everything on then the driver side piece of y pipe has to be coarsed. I put the y pipe piece on the Header, then twisted it up a little, put the connector piece onto the passenger side piece, then coarsed the driver side piece down until it all fit together.
You could leave the driver side header unbolted then put it all together probably too.
Depending on where you live, if you leave your cats in, your going to need to have some reworking of your exaust, it cause me 400 Dollars. Make sure truck isn't running rich either when you put the lt's on, because if it is, then you get your cats put on, you'll burn one, or both up. I learned this the hard way. I got my truck tuned after i got the exaust together, and burned up a cat.

I the way its drivin has allot to do with trans problems. also if you tune it with the torque manegment allthe way off, plus super firm shifts on top of 75 extra wheel power. and throw in puonding it daily, i bet most 60's will have atleast some problems.
