That is one hell of a notch. I dont think moving the engine up a bit would help at all. I am not affraid to make a notch like that as long as i box it in but it is pretty damn close to critical areas. Did you move the motor forward or backward to get your notch to line up between the idler arm mounting points and the front crossmember?
