    I dont realy want to spend the cash right now for the new injectors since i jsut bought the akly injection and stuff. If i keep the whipple computer and the alky injection and stock injectors, will a nelson tune still be worth while??


    blown02...did your friends have a stock bottom end in the motor when he was running 16 psi??

    No he had Pro mod rods with ross 8 to 1 compression pistons. Stock crank with all arp bolts. It would have held more boost he had pullys to go up to 23lbs. As soon as he put i think it was the 18 or 20lb on he lifted the head.
    old set up: 2002 chevy 5.3, procharger 12lbs boost, asm headers, ls1 edit, flames, 20inch budniks

    New Set up: 2004 chevy 5.3 ext cab, 12 inch twisted suspension lift, 36's, exhaust.
    future mods: 150-200 shot, ls1 edit, air intake, stall, 5.13 gears, 12s or bust
