    Can this be done on the 4.8?

    On performancetrucks.net I saw that he is putting down 340rwhp and 340 rwtq AND he runs in the 12s all motor, so If it does hurt you a little down low he definelty isn't noticeing it.
    03 ECSB 5.3 N/A, bolt ons, cam, PRC stage 2.5 heads, 8.1 injectors, 2400stall, lakewood traction bars, G80 3.73s, elec fans, Fram boost intake, HPtuners by Ben Sundling, DMH cutout.

    Best 1/8: 8.786 (at 5060lbs)
    Best 1/4: 14.00058 (at 5060lbs)

    great thread! id also like to know about the emissions stuff. if i lose it all do i just need to have it retuned? Also dos anyone know a good tuner up around ft worth area? id use nelsons but Huston is kinda outta my way lol.

    HOUSTON?!?!?! NelsonPerformance is in SanAntonio and they do mail order tunes that are very sharp if you can't drive 4.5 hours to get a live tune.

    Does the stock size belt work with this after you relocate the idler pulley?

    02' 4.8/5.3 with ls1 intake and stock water pump using truck TB. I dented the water neck, cut off the cruise control cable nipple off the TB, will trim the cable guide a little too. Only mocked up now but looks as if it will work. Saves having to change the water pump.
