    another texas racer

    Hey guys Im from round rock texas right near austin.

    im doing a ls1 swap in my 1998 chevy cheyenne pickup
    its got a beefy v6 but i needs a big o ls1 thanks to Nitrous for shown me this place.

    i also play bf2 and go to acc and work at sears auto center lol

    Welcome to the site! Good to see that you are getting rid of that 'ol, tired 4.3L for a 6.0... And yes, I have made the decision for you. You are getting a 6.0L! LOL.

    txarkitekt if you can find me a 6.0 with trans, comp, wiring, and all that good stuff for around 4,200 ill really consider it but until then im stickin with this

    Welcome. Wise choice to upgrade if you like the truck you already have. If you're thinking about getting a NBS truck, it would be better to just sell off the old one and buy the NBS with the V8 already in it.

    thanks i have been deciding my options for about 2 yrs now. i almost sold my truck to get a black ss silverado. it would be the only truck i sell mine for. and i get a lot of offers. about two weeks ago just walking into my house some guy pulled up and asked if my truck was for sale i said how much, he said 12k cash i was like thats a down payment on a ss silverado but i love my color and the singel cab so im just gunna put a v8 in it, if it goes well i keep it if not i sell

    yea if it was just dirty i wouldn't mind cleaning it but i bet that motor was abused to death. thats why the price is so low
