Dude I dont even like working on my own truck anymore. All I need to do is put the valve cover and coil pack back on the passenger side to go drive it and I had all day to do it since it rained and I still couldnt muster the energy to go do it. If my truck doesnt watch out it will be sold and Ill step up to nnbs duramax
A 224 cam like I told you a long time ago will be perfect for your truck with how high it flash stalls, you need to get rid of those damn gt-IIs for some real tires that will hook. You shouldnt be spinning all four on good concrete like you are with the power you are making, a cam will just make it alot worse. You still need to put spray on it.
If it was me a I would get a 224/228 on an XER lobe on a 110lsa with 0*s advance ground in, will have a mean idle, run damn good down low while cruising down the highway and will run pretty well on the spray with the split, the 110lsa isnt optimal for spray but will give better of juice driving characteristics.

Cam choice is tough, I will be the first to admit that having changed out 3 in the last year and once I did it I always had that funny feeling there was another cam better or I could of custom ground this or that. I have come to realize that keeping the LSA close to stock or no higher than 11 for the Dodge trucks was going to be easier on tuning, I have no clue whats out there for tuning cams on your truck but if the options are out there to tune a nasty cam that gives you torque on the low-mid-high end then do it, forget about what HP #'s they claim with the cam look at the torque ratings Daniel and slap that baby in there and instead of leveling out at 80MPH you will still be back in your seat feeling that beauty still pulling like its got a pair

Like I've told others its all about COMPLIMENTARY mods, just becasue each part of the truck has a great part out there for it does not mean that when all put together on a truck that it will work well together, so take the advice from your guys or look at someone elses trucks with the same or darn near the same mods as you but also has swapped cams and ask them if they like it or would they do something different and tuning after the cam will make all the difference, get that wideband A/F guage in ASAP. I think people who are new to modding (not you of course) think they will have to sell their kidney or visit the sperm bank to afford modding their truck and really after all that I have learned if you sit back, let all the others be the guinea pig and take notes you will see the basic performance mods that get you moving come down to
1.Better intake
2.Better exhaust-including headers
3.Better cam
Now stop look at those 3 things there, done right with the correct combo can make a world of a difference its all about moving air and gases and once you know what combo works well its not so scarry.
Then move on to
4.TUNING (you will always see me talk about tuning)
5.Stall Convert and or shift kit
6.Gears, but you guys have 4.10 or 4.11 which is great for low and top end, 4.56 are great for the 1/8 but past that??
7.Upgraded tranny.
I have only seen a few on the Dodge side well actually one is a TBSS owner that has taken his RC Hemi from a 15.1, did all of the above and finally got his tune down right and is running a 12.8 with slicks

Welcome Wade! I've heard that your an asshole! J/K man--From what I have heard from others and from what I have read from your posts on HTC, you are a stand up guy. You are welcome on here anytime! Nice set of vehicles--I have been on top of those SRT8 GC trucks since SRT was developing them... And your CC Hemi isn't a slouch either. You are exactly right about the supporting mods comment--most guys try to over-cam their motors and then wonder why they don't perform as expected. And yes, experience in cam selection is painstaking unless you can get the correct advice from others upon your installation... I am sure that Daniel will get the best cam for his truck--like he was saying, he should post up a poll of a couple different grinds and have everyone on here vote...
