Modifying a 5.3L engine

Its the same engine only cast iron. Parts are interchangable from the LS1 to the 5.3, within reason. There are many parts available for performance.

What do you want to do to it? What year Yukon? OBS or NBS?

What do OBS and NBS mean? As far as what I want to do with it, simple intake/exhaust mods and a stock-sounding cam to make good power and still have stock manners It is going into a 1998 2 door Tahoe
