The only thing I can think of is the pinion is at the wrong angle. Do you get any popping in the rear when you get on it. The 20's don't help either. There is not much rubber b/w the rim and road.

No, no popping noises...
The research I've done suggests to trim the bump stops on the rear axle...is that the norm for a leveling shackle install? Mine are not trimmed.
I'm tempted to get a stock set and put it back original...do like the look of it now though...
If you are in SA, I'd like to take a ride in that monster! slide the baby seat over!

Crawl up under there and check out the front suspension. Being that you're in the SanAntonio area, the truck may have made a few trips to the beach and got salt in the suspension - rusting it away and possibly locking up the shocks and suspsension. You may have to replace the front shocks or aarm bushings to fix your problem. I'd suggest a set of Monroe gas shocks on there, the factory ones just never do it for me. If you have visible rust and corrosion in the front suspension you may want to stop it by having the suspension soda blasted and painted with a rust convertor paint like paint over rust POR products. You could have some dry ball joints, also.

Truck hasn't seen much road miles. I'm more concerned with the rear suspension. It seems a little stiff to me. I put a load on it and it hardly squats.
The springs look stock but i'm not sure. Front seems to do Ok. Rear is choppy and bumps along the hiway at speed. I'm thinkin bump stops need to be trimmed but am not sure if this is a normal practice for just leveling shackles...May do it anyways...cut half off and see how she rides.
