    i've heard, and read some things that guys have posted onto gmfullsize.com about somethings that are being done on here...

    hopefully i can learn and figure out what i want out of my truck.

    8000K H.I.D. conversion kit (High/Low)
    components up front/2 ways in the rear
    Ported Throttle Body, Pacesetter L/T (ceramic coated) & ORY, stock tranny & gears, 18" caddi take offs on 255-55s, 2/8 drop with weld in C-notch with c-notch support bars...waiting on enough cash to buy the drop spindles because im redoing: bearings, upper and lower ball joints.

    im trying to decide to either rebuild my 5.3 with some upgrades or do a 6.0 with some upgrades with: a 224 cam, custom tune, 05 radiator and e-fans, 3:90, auburn posi., built tranny, yank 3000 stall.

    just a few ideas as far as performance wise.....i've never done anything other than replace factory parts when they go out, so i dont know a lot about having a lot of RWHP, an a strong motor and tranny. so hopefully i'll be able to pin-point what i want out of my truck.

    Welcome to the site! I was curious as to see how those 18's would look--they don't look that bad! A built 5.3 would be cool...but a bolt-on and cammed 6.0 would be even better!
