    OBS conversion headers

I know members have been asked about this before but who would be interested in a set of long tube headers custom made. I'm in the process of working with a header company to manufacture these at a reasonable price. Once completed they will be sold through myself or directly from the header manufacturer. As soon as I get them assembled, tack welded and sent back to them we hope to start production right away. These headers will be constructed by hand to the highest of standards. Headers are constructed using 1 7/8" aluminized steel primary tubes, 3/8” thick CNC cut flanges, and 3” collectors. They are finished off with a lifetime warrantied inside and out Jet-Hot ceramic coating. I will take pictures or if you're in the Houston area you will be able to see them installed. I will make sure these will fit both 1/4" - 5/8" adapter plates and engine swaps for 1988-2000. Please let me know if you're interested so I'll know if it's worth the production. I'm not trying to steal your thunder Greg, just trying to come up with a solution.

    Thanks, Nitrous

That would be great if you can get them made. I offered them up to header manufacturers and nobody answered back so no LT up to this point short of custom. Have fun with the buildup. BTW, GM makes header flanges that are just shy of 1/2" material if you want some thicker flanges.

There's a good chance these headers will fit the 80 model trucks also. I'll have to se when I'm finished.

This pic is on a C4 vette. When I get them tacked together I'll post a top pic. I haven't received the tubing and flanges yet.
