    new to the site

    whats up everyone, how is everyone doin. first off my name is chris, i drive an 03 chevy with a 4.8. i dont know much about engines, i know a little bit about a little bit. i dont know jack about performance but would like to learn.
    im really into trucks, i like the lowered suspension, loud pipes, the speed, and things like that. i joind the forum to see if you guys could help me out in any way, and hope to meet alot off cool people, well hope to hear from you all laters

    There's a lot you can do to make the 4.8 a powerful engine.

    welcome to the site. i'd start with the rearend and move forward. start out with a good set of 4.10s and a locker. move to the tranny and then build up the motor.
