    It would be...4500 lbs max.? IMHO, yes. A 5.3L 1/2 ton would do it, but not on an everyday basis. But it would be logical to use a 3/4 Duramax considering you would be driving a lot for the mobile detailing. You will get better mileage and the vehicle would handle the everyday hauling better. A 6.0 would handle it just as well, but your mileage would suffer over a Duramax.

    If it was up to me, and I had the funds to do so, A Duramax wouldn't be overkill for ANYTHING. I would use that thing to tow my two jetski's.
    2007 NNBS 4.8 -k&n, magnaflow, 8000k HIDS.

    Probably a little more than 4500 lbs. Considering 150 gallons of water weighs about 1,251 pounds, add to that all the chemicals, and miscellaneous equipment. So maybe 6000 lbs+ would be a good estimate.

    And a 5.3 was never in consideration.... Maybe an SS or VHO. But I can get an '04 2500 ecsb Duramax for about the same price.
