I really dont think the outlet/inlet on the water pump on the drivers side is for oil. Anyone know what its for? [/b]
It is not for "oil", or the heater core. . It is for the (optional) oil cooler. Engine coolant is routed to the oil cooler and then back to the radiator. On Camaros that do not have the oil cooler option the line is connected directly to the radiator.

To recap, the two lines on the passenger side are for your heater core, the single line on the drivers side is for the oil cooler option. Here's a pic of a Camaro water pump for reference. ( this pump has been modified with a CSI electric motor, but the housing remains the same.)

On my Camaro LT1 swap, I just plugged that hose since I am running neither a oil cooler nor do I have a return fitting in my radiator.......
