89C1500...In response to your pm regarding motor mounts, I retained my original rubber & steel Vortec 4.3 V-6 frame mounts, as they could not be easily removed anyways, on my '96, due to very difficult access to their fastening bolts tucked in deep into the cross-member. It seemed as though they were never intended to be removed, without torching or cutting an access hole to get at the bolt heads(?). Then I simply fabricated a flat steel plate that bolted up to the LS1 blocks mounting hole bolt pattern. Then welded on two "ears" with holes in them, sticking down, for the one long motor mount bolt to pass through both the ears & the frame mount. I think the steel plate material was no thicker than 1/4" thick. These two ears(on each mount), were short, only 1 3/8" long overall. No, I don't have a pattern or drawing, sorry. This simple mount design worked excellent. Any other questions, just fire away, as I know how difficult it is, getting detailed information on these installs. Gar
