So that's what I did with a 60' of 2.3 in overdrive w/ an 1/8th mile of 9.43@77.46mph. I was really bummed about it. So much so, I actually deleted my own post and modified my Signature.

Last night with 88 degree temps we went to the same track and 05/06 Mustang GTs were running somewhere between 14.3 and 14.8 timeslips.

Tonight I met up with a Mustang (have seen on the web and in some of the mags that these do 1/4mile in 13.5 - 13.9 (the very ones which were running 14.3/14.8 ETs last night at Ennis.

With half-a-tank of gas, a 180lb passenger, on practically bald 275/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires on the rear, with the windows rolled down on the truck. We took off and held right with him until 90mph where I was at his bumper and he got to about a half a length in front of me before he let off. I really was impressed with my auto tranny. It helped me a lot, he was obviously not good with his 2nd to 3rd shift cause I would gain quite a bit on him when we can onto this.

So there's my story and I'm stickin' to it and happy to be judged by it. I'm going to work on weight reductions and see what I can come up with besides working with the pre-intake, E-Fans (removing the clutch fan and eventually swapping out the wheels for something lighter.
