Oh yeah, you should be able to handle that if you have the time. Give yourself about 8 hours and you should have it done. You probably can talk someone that needs a V8 in his V6 truck into helping you do the work.

Just be sure when you install the convertor that it locks over the drive tangs in the front pump of the transmission, you may have to turn the convertor by hand a few times to find the pump drive lugs. If you go to install the transmission and the housing doesnt contact the engine before the convertor, you may not have the convertor in all the way. You should not have to draw the transmission onto the engine, it should go up there by hand.

Be sure you pour one quart of transmission fluid in the convertor before installation.

so i need to pour a quart of transmission fluid back in my converter? i turned mine over and all the shit drained out of it. thank god we havent re installed everything all the way. and yeah i can help him, but he&#39;ll still do all the work haha, im too big to do anything but lift shit haha.
