Dont hate cause other can muster the cash or talent to go beyond stock size, Plus i think the stock 5.3 is the one competing with the 400+ ci trucks. Its all in how you choose to play the game.

As for engine, it's just a forged piston 6.2L.

If a 440ci twin turbo extcab beats a stock 5.3L, end of story, period, it beat it! sure you can bench race and talk how one is on a budget, low cost, etc etc, but the fact is, if you're faster, you WIN!

Not exactly... Jon was on a "stock "altered" 6L" for awhile and he's bagged w/ a 3 link, not 4 linked and was running faster... Modified suspension just like the other so called "stock suspension" trucks. You'll see soon that a "stock 5.3" and "stock suspension" will be so far behind it won't even be considered competing. Silver sleeper has a 4 link?... He has the fastest EC in my eyes right now...

Bottom line... Don't make excuses... that's what "parenthesis" are for... excuses to fall back on. Last I checked there was no awards for "stock suspension" handed out at any events? Not even a cookie handed out... I'm so sick and tired of hearing about "stock suspension"... nobody cares if you have a "stock suspension". Besides, my DD has "stock suspension" like it came from the factory... that's "stock suspension"... not lowered with stiffer front springs or softer de-leafed leaf springs with caltracs or long bars on the back and coilovers and pinion shims to correct pinion and on and on... GTFO with that ricer chit
