I am starting my swap in the next few weeks into my 94 model 2wd silverado, does anyone know how much to take off the oil pan so that it will not be sitting below the crossmember? I am going take my pan off and take it to a shop that will shorten it for me, also should I ask them to section it farther forward to make up for the amount of space lost by shortening it??
