Heres a good question for you. If Toyota makes such a crappy product, why do they hold value way better than anything else? Not to mention they sale easier with higher miles. Wouldnt be because they have a reputation for making a long lasting relibale vehicle, would it?

Facts are there to support both sides of the argument. Chevy fits me at the time and I am happy with it, but I also cant wait to get a nicer truck.

Maybe you havent seen an I-Force swap because they are way expensive, complicated, and less available. No denying anything. LS motors are way simple and less expensive, but technologically better? Two different beast...I dont have a degree to back up any claims on what might be better. Better is a word that is subjective to different people.
First hands Family owned is not a real fact...still your opinion, on your experience. I have a whole line of chevy past, trouble free, and that gives a Dxxx to surveys resuts.
Well, the seeling thing is a pure based good Marketing/Merchandising, meaning it had a share of good rep a long time ago, but in the countries that I work now and then that loyalty to Toyota have go way down in the last 6 years. But Toyota still spend a lot od Pub in the US, so there u got it.

On the places I been I have seen a lot of Toyotas and other brand trucks lay down to the ground, where the money you invest in the truck doesnt care, and you just hit it with anything that comes, Yotas stil bend and crack a LOT. No one here baby them for costing more that the big 3's and when that happend guees what........yeap, they fail.

I force is a no swap for a lot of reasons, and LS is the main swap for a lot of reasons. But the fact is, more people, included yota owners love the LS.

I wont call low tech cause it does not have multi valve heads, still, I know there is the option for that for the LS, so no biggy, besides that, I dont see the difference in tech...o wait....yeah, low tech engine endure, flow and last more. And been the most popular kid on the block make them cheaper, not because low tech.

Oh yeah, and Iforce based drag engines are in the 6's normally....oh...my mistake, those are the LS based drag engines.
