Obviously fully dropping the transmisson and removing it is one way to install a converter. In fact, actually getting the trans out seems to be the hardest part.

Is there some sort of trick way to do this w/o having to fully drop the trans? Would it not be good idea even if there is? Comments or web links to a procedure are welcome.
