Hey. I need advice. I have a 1979 Silverado K10. I am putting a 2004 6.L Vortec HO and a beefed-up 4L60E. The engine has a "drive by wire" throttle body. To use it I will have to get the pedal, sensor, wiring and linkage. That is not too difficult but it is an added expense. My other option is to get a mechanical throttle body. If I doo that I could get a larger throttle body, like an 80mm. So my questions are:

1) What are the pros and cons of "drive by wire" and "drive by cable"?

2) Which do you prefer?

3) Either way, which size throttle body should I use to maximize power?
