Well, we just finished testing the new B&M LS1 Holeshot converter on our B&M Converter Dyno. The specs are 10" diameter, 2400 stall (approx.), and a 2.0/2.1 STR. This should be a nice converter. On the converter dyno it flashed up to 3000 rpms on our 600hp dyno engine. With 230 input TQ, the converter put out (as I witnessed) 481 TQ ... about 2.1 STR. We are testing it out on my SS to see what it really will come out as, I believe it will be a 3000, just called a 2400 for marketing reasons. Much like PI does with theirs. Either way, I'll keep the online community posted. The feedback is always greatly appreciated and I will take it in to consideration. We will be testing out this weekend at LACR and CA Dragway. Our baseline times from LACR with the SS were:

60' = 2.10
1/8 ET = 8.94
1/8 MPH = 81
1/4 ET = 13.76
1/4 MPH = 101
DA = 4280'

Mods:
Factory Stock, except as follows
Hooker LTs & ORY
M/T ET Streets (26x10.5x16)
ET Streets were used to minimize tire spin for more consistent times

After this, I am going to have our converter guy make me a Holeshot 3000 and see what the difference is. The 2400 Holeshot converter can be seen at B&M's SEMA booth.

BTW: This converter will work on 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 trucks with 4L60E transmissions. I may even be able to try it out on my Sierra.
