Ok I've said it on these boards a few times my truck will always stay a standard unless I lose my left leg, well I have a bad left knee (dirtbike accident) and the doc says driving an automatic would definitly be beneficial so with my upcoming 5.3 swap looks like I'll be going with an 80e (plus they seem to be cheaper than a t56). So is there anything else involved other than pedals, shifter, computer flashed to run it. And thats the other thing, the shifter, can I use an aftermarket on the floor shifter meant for a 700r4?
