Well, finally changed from 3.08s to 4.10s. Awesome difference in acceleration. Now my heavy truck can really dig itself out of the hole. I celebrated by burning half of the rubber off the rears and painting the side of the truck with hot rubber.Bought them new from 4wheelparts.com for $139.99 minus a 20% off coupon they had in July's Off-Road Adventurer magazine they send me every month for free. Gotta love those guys.
Their install kit came with timken bearings for the pinion and third member, shims galore for the pinion and carrier, new bolts for the ring gear, new pinion nut, crush sleeve, gear contact pattern marking compound with brush, loctite for the ring gear bolts and cover gasket all for $89.
