Thread: Returnless VS Retun Fuel Systems

    I have a problem and I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I put a 04 RETURNLESS 5.3 into my 01 RETURN style 4.3. I found out the newer fuel pumps are RETURNLESS and have the regulator and filter built into the fuel pump assembly. I would just buy a new returnless pump, but the hole for the newer fuel pump is different than the one that is on my gas tank. Is there some type of aftermarket returnless type fuel pump that I can use. i am just worried about the regulator and the filter being built into the newer style pump and mine is all external on my truck. Anyone have any ideas?

    That's when you use the Corvette internally regulated fuel filter. The excess fuel pressure will return to the fuel tank. There's lots of info about it in the conversion section.
