have you checked the fuses and fluid level? 65e would be what I'd try to get if you replace it, unless you're planning on some severe duty usage in the future.

[/b]True, you'd be better off with a stronger trans. If you can't find a salvaged trans (4L65e or 80e), then clutch replacement is not as bad to get you by until you get what you're looking to upgrade to. You'd just have to train your right foot not to dog the truck until you get the upgrade.
