2004 EXC Silverado 6.2L
Mods:
6.2L L92, Ported and Polished stage 3 heads, 95mm Throttle Body, 100mm MAF, NA, Pacesetter LT Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Muffler, Electric Fans, 160* thermostat, 2" Drop Shackles, Hellwig Sway Bars Front and Rear, Monroe Reflex Shocks, NGK Spark Plugs, AMW Oil Catch Can, 17"x10" wheels on Kuhmo Tires.
My order of mods usually goes...
1.) Gears, posi and a lifetime tune
2.) Electric fans (if you don't have one from the factory)
3.) Convertor
4.) Cold air induction, polished throttle body and a retune
5.) Cam, pushrods and springs with a retune
6.) Headers with a retune
7.) Underdrive pulleys
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709
And P.S., the throttle body bypass doesn't cost a penny. The hose that's on there is long enough to bypass the TB all by itself. Pull it off the left side of the TB and push it onto the fitting to the right of the TB (not ON the TB) where you pull the other one off. It's free but won't give you any noticeable gains.
One of my favorite mods was headers. Let these engines breathe and they love it. Compliment the headers with an intake....
