Finally got in the 14's! It took me a bunch of tries, a bunch of runs, but on the fifth one, I got:

    RT: .245
    60': 2.40
    1/8: 9.67 @ 74.27
    1/4: 14.953 @ 93.05

Needless to say I was pretty happy to get out of the 15's!

My next and last run is below (I'm on the right) and is my best so far:

Virgil, thanks for the advice man it worked. For the record, my other runs were all done in 4WD. As soon as I ran in 2WD I dropped into the 14's. So I have to say I'm not sold on the idea of a 4WD launch providing the track conditions are good. I still spun a little on each of the above runs, so if I were to hook up, maybe I'd be mid 14' But anyway, I'm happy with the results.

Jeff, Greg, Daniel, and Pedro, it was good to meet you guys finally. Below is a picture of all the "truck guys"...we gave a pretty good representation of the trucking community!

Hey man - I don't blame you. You had a long drive ahead of you and you got into the 13's! Way to end a day.

And yes, for sure I'm going to look for a cam. I'm thinking a 224/224 with a 112 LSA. Just gotta find one (and a buyer for mine).

It was fun man, glad we finally got to run each other!

Hey, I could think of worse problems than having a vehicle with so much 'umph' that you can't get traction. I can't imagine what your times would be if you consistently hooked.

I hope nothing too serious happened on that last run.

Oh and I should add that on the last two runs, I let my tires down to about 23# of air. My weight (me in the truck) is 5155 pounds.

Thanks, but nothing really happened, At first i thought the trans was completely gone, but it just bounced on teh rev limiter for a bit, lesson learned and no more track till i get a built trans

Congrats on the 14! Glad to see you made it. Now, imagine how far you would have been into the 14s with the other convertor.

Thanks Greg. It was good to finally meet you. I'll look forward to you getting that beast put in your truck. We'll have to go down again and shoot for some better times.
