Got the 408 comin with pacesetters and ORY pipe. Was thinking about a single 4" from the Y through a 4" muffler and dump over the rear axle. Waddaya think?

depending on the muffler, it may not be too loud.
As far as flow, it should be good.

Sounds like a great idea. Just be sure it turns down and out or you'll feel it rumble through the cab. That is going to be a stump puller of a reliable engine! 11:1 compression? Badass!

I do NOT want loud. When I say "dump over the axle" I mean out the back at the bumper, but unseen. There's nothing I hate more than exposed exhaust. Make it look factory or hide it alltogether. Would duals be quieter?

Not 11.1:1 compression. Decided to keep my 72cc heads and do 10.5:1. Will be adding 150 shot after we're good and broken in.

o so you dont want it loud... hmmm.. im out on givoing any suggestions then :laugh... try corsa, ive heard quite a few with LT's and the ORY and sounds pretty nice... but then again alot of people have it and if you want to sound like the others go for it, or try something unique

You may have to experiment a little with mufflers to fing what you want.

I wont need no "stinking" muffler. I'll have one of those butt turbos to keep it quiet.

instead of dumping it, have two tips exiting the side before the tire. that always looks good and shouldn't drone as much.

i'm thinking about going that route with my corsa after i get my headers.

agreed! two before the rear wheels! always a winner!
