Hey guys, new to the site, got directed over here by one of the performancetruck members. This site has alot of info I could use and seems like some pretty cool people. I have a 1998 GMC Sierra Z71, has alot of mods right now but the best coming with a 2002 4.8 swap(for now, plan on boring the block out, forged pitsons/rods, 5.3 crank, afr heads, cam etc) with a small cam (.517/.525 on 1.7) and 241 Corvette heads with Z06 valvesprings. I'm building a custom single turbo (Super T70) setup on it and plan on running 12psi on the stock 4.8 (has head studs in it, and the lower compression + alky should cover it with a good tune, parish ran 12psi on pump fuel on a BONE stock 4.8 so I know it can be done). Figuring close to 450-475 rwhp, then whenever it blows should be looking for lots more My main project is my 69' Pontiac Tempest, but it's kind of on hold while I finish up the truck. Here's a pic of it before the new rims/tires (these wheels/tires for sale in the FS section)

Ah VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex.

33x13.50 Super Swampers lol. First track trip when teh blower was on was to an 1/8 mile track. I was the first vehicle down the left lane, spun every time I got into it and built boost, it was horrible lol. All the way to the traps I couldn't keep traction, but after a few runs and the sticky stuff got spread out it dead hooked. Did the same at the Alabama 1/4 track.

Thanks, my new wheels should be here this week and I need to find some lowering shackles for the rear. Trying to get it more "sport-truck" appearance.
