Close brush with death?! What happened?
I don't need anything right now. I'm sure I'll be able to think of a few things though LOL. Just came to see how ppeople were doing and what new projects have come about in the LT1 section.

Had a gall bladder infection that went out of control. They removed it and the infection. Now it's recovery time. Also killed my LS1 engine with a bad lean nitrous setup.

Dang man that's pretty rough. I got my tranny in place today. The clutch master cylinder, hydraulic line, pedal assembly, and all that is in place also. My truck being a 4x4, I have yet to put on the transfer case. This is where I have a little holdup. The 4L60E and NV3500 I put in have different output shafts, the one on the NV3500 is bigger and has more splines. I have the transfer case that was mated to the NV3500 (NP241) and the one that has always been in my truck, the NP243. I need to swap the shafts between the cases, I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. Any idea where I could find some diagrams or anything to go about this?

I'd call around for an adapter coupler first. Drive train Specialists, specialties or something like that might have just what you're looking for.

Need a Freakin' Roll Cage, and a Death Insurance
The new engines hasn't even sniffed the funny gas yet. The old engine took a 200 shot about 8 times before she finally gagged on it and died.

You're hauling arse in that truck. I just looked at your times.
As for the adaptor, the case bolts right up, same bolt pattern and identical housings. The input shafts on the transfer cases just need to be swapped.
I had the same issue swapping transfer cases on my 6.5L deisel to a suburban transfer case. Mine was dead so something had to be done. It had a much larger input shaft on 6.5 xfer case vs. the 5.7L case so I had to swap the input shaft. If I could have found an adapter I would have been happy to pay the money for it instead of having to totally disassemble two units to make one good usable unit.

Yeah, that is exactly what I need to do. Even if there was an adaptor, I cannot afford it. This is a good opportunity to learn a little about transfer cases anyway. I just need to find some diagrams or info.
What year and model of transfer cases?
