My name is Scott. I just registered here because I'm gonna be building a K5 Blazer that'll be mainly used for rockcrawling and other forms of 'wheelin that will have a Vortec 6.0L in it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome

You'll want as much torque as you can get for the crawler so stay away from big cams but think seriously about stroking the 6.0L out to 4.00"/402cu.inches. You'll need a tune to get you started going and Nelson's is the way to go. Get his hotrod tune and have the emissions crap and VATS disabled. You'll still need the front O2 sensors but get everything else turned off.

No pics yet. The person who will be helping me with the project has a digital camera so he'll be taking pics of it during the build.
