Thread: another tire question

    tryin to find out what tire size to go with. both are kumo ecsta stx.
    im lookin at 255,55r16 or 255,65r16. one is 27in and the other is 29in. what would work best

    id think a nicer ride would come with the 29", but if u ever lowered the truck, the 27 might look nicer. depends what ur planning on doing.

    might drop it 2in but i need tires first mine r bald and snow is coming

    if your only droping 2" (in the rear i hope), then i think some 255/70&#39;s would better suit your needs. they are 30" tall. just my own preferance i don&#39;t like much fender well space.

    I have 265/70s on my truck and dont have any clearence issues and it is lowered a lot more than what you plan on going with it. I dont see any problem running the larger tire.
