just called competition sales. theirs are $239. called dealer he says they have an available kit thats sells for $600.what the fudge man? does the comp sales sound right? any suggestions where to buy and get good install, and about how long does an average install take. would be cool. its october so its my time to get my truck together.

TX, those gears in the ebay link are the wrong ones for your truck. Those are 7.5", You need 8.5".
Speed Engineering has Richmond 3.73's for $169.00. That is what i would purchase if it were me.

If you still stay in DeerPark theres a place in Pasadena that charges $350 to install. Its off the beltway and Pine St, probally have to go to Spencer and turn around if your coming from 225 . Driveline is the name of the shop. Thats the going price for rearend shops. There was some local guy from pt.net charging $150 but is not doing anymore till the begining of thr year. Goodluck
